Extensive experience in Long-term Care and MDS is required.Under the direction of the Regional Director of Clinical Services, the Clinical Quality Control RN is responsible for compliance and education for clinical staff assigned to facilities in the defined service area. The Clinical Control Quality RN ensures that external staff is in compliance with Maxim and facility hiring requirements which include but, are not limited to competency assessment and testing, license verification, background screening and health requirements. The Clinical Control Quality RN has a comprehensive understanding of contract requirements and its relevance to all working staff. Responsible for recurrent review of personnel files while working in conjunction with each Maxim Staffing Solutions Branch Account Manager to ensure continual compliance of all Federal, State, Maxim policy, The Joint Commission regulations, and specific contract requirements.Responsibilities include: Review candidate's personnel file prior to working the first shift at a facility. Conducts recurrent review of all personnel files in each assigned branch office. Works in conjunction with Branch Account Managers to ensure the continual quality customer service and clinical issue resolution. Ensures timely follow-up and resolution of facility identified issues and/or concerns. Assists in documentation of follow-up and plan of correction for facility related issues and/or concerns. Ensures all personnel receive annual and as needed Performance Evaluations. Ensures that all active personnel receive Maxim Orientation per Maxim Staffing Work Flow Compliance Program and that all facilities contracted with Maxim Staffing Solutions participate with external personnel to ensure appropriate onsite orientation prior to independent delivery of patient care. Communicates regularly with all members of the Branch Office. Makes regular visits to facilities to assess customer service, resolve issues and evaluate service provisions. Works directly with clinical staff to ensure qualified and competent health care is provided in the facility. Attends and participates in audit procedures completed in each assigned Branch Office. Communicates regularly with the Regional Director of Clinical Services and submits written reports weekly. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications include: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices. Full command, verbal and written, of the English language. Current Health Certificate (if applicable). PPD or Chest X-Ray. One to three years professional nursing experience preferred. One to three years clinical management experience preferred. Current BLS Card.
